KATHMANDU: Nine people injured in the Rasuwa floods and brought to Kathmandu for treatment have been discharged from various hospitals.
According to the Prime Minister Balen Shah’s Secretariat, nine injured people were discharged after receiving treatment as of Thursday morning.
The floods triggered by the bursting of Lhende Lake in the Tibetan region have caused significant loss of life and property in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and other areas.
A total of 42 people rescued from the affected areas were brought to Kathmandu for treatment at various hospitals. Of them, 33 remain hospitalized.
Currently, one person is receiving treatment at Birendra Sainik Hospital in Chhauni, one at Bir Hospital, nine at the Trauma Center, 19 at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, three at Norvic Hospital and one at Manmohan Memorial Hospital in Swayambhu.
