NRB announces today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.08 and the selling rate at Rs 152.68.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro has been fixed at Rs 177.09 and the selling rate at Rs 177.79. The buying rate of one British Pound Sterling stands at Rs 205.24 and the selling rate at Rs 206.05, while the buying and selling rates of one Swiss Franc have been fixed at Rs 194.64 and Rs 195.41 respectively.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 109.03 and the selling rate at Rs 109.46. Likewise, one Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 110.10 and a selling rate of Rs 110.54, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 119.06 and a selling rate of Rs 119.53.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen has been fixed at Rs 9.57 and the selling rate at Rs 9.61. Similarly, the buying and selling rates of one Chinese Yuan have been set at Rs 22.42 and Rs 22.50 respectively, while one Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 40.53 and a selling rate of Rs 40.69.

Likewise, one Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.72 and a selling rate of Rs 41.88, one Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.68 and a selling rate of Rs 4.70, and one UAE Dirham has a buying rate of Rs 41.40 and a selling rate of Rs 41.57.

The buying rate of one Malaysian Ringgit has been fixed at Rs 38.48 and the selling rate at Rs 38.63. The buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean Won stand at Rs 10.04 and Rs 10.08 respectively. Similarly, one Swedish Kronor has a buying rate of Rs 16.39 and a selling rate of Rs 16.46, while one Danish Kronor has a buying rate of Rs 23.70 and a selling rate of Rs 23.79.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.41 and the selling rate at Rs 19.49. Likewise, one Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of Rs 495.86 and a selling rate of Rs 497.82, one Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of Rs 403.40 and a selling rate of Rs 404.99, and one Omani Rial has a buying rate of Rs 395.01 and a selling rate of Rs 396.57.

The buying rate of Indian currency for Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
