NC to pick Bhishmaraj Angdembe as parliamentary party leader



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has decided to appoint Bhishmaraj Angdembe as its parliamentary party leader.

A meeting of the party’s Central Working Committee held on Monday reached a consensus to select Angdembe for the post unanimously.

The decision is set to be formally endorsed by an upcoming meeting of the parliamentary party.

Angdembe is a lawmaker elected under the proportional representation system.

Party leaders said the move reflects internal consensus and aims to ensure stable leadership within the parliamentary party.
