NRB sets today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 150.50, while the selling rate is Rs 151.10.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 176.37 and the selling rate at Rs 177.07. The UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 203.66 (buying) and Rs 204.48 (selling), while the Swiss franc is set at Rs 191.68 (buying) and Rs 192.45 (selling).

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 107.65 and a selling rate of Rs 108.08. The Canadian dollar is priced at Rs 110.11 (buying) and Rs 110.55 (selling), while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 117.94 (buying) and Rs 118.41 (selling).

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.44 and the selling rate is Rs 9.48. The Chinese yuan is set at Rs 22.01 (buying) and Rs 22.10 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.12 (buying) and Rs 40.28 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 41.28 (buying) and Rs 41.45 (selling).

Likewise, the Thai baht is traded at Rs 4.65 (buying) and Rs 4.67 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs 40.97 (buying) and Rs 41.14 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.96 (buying) and Rs 38.11 (selling).

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.19 and the selling rate is Rs 10.23. The Swedish krona is set at Rs 16.35 (buying) and Rs 16.41 (selling), while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.61 (buying) and Rs 23.70 (selling).

Other currencies include the Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.21 (buying) and Rs 19.28 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 490.87 (buying) and Rs 492.82 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 398.60 (buying) and Rs 400.19 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs 390.90 (buying) and Rs 392.46 (selling). The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).

The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as required. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
