Top End T20 Series: Nepal ‘A’ to Face ACT today



KATHMANDU: Nepal ‘A’ will take on Australian Capital Territory (ACT) today in the ongoing Top End T20 Series in Australia. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:15 pm at Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin.

Nepal will be playing its fourth match of the tournament and will be aiming for its second victory. After suffering defeats in their first two matches, Nepal bounced back with a 39-run win over the Hobart Hurricanes Academy in their third game.

ACT, meanwhile, are still searching for their first win of the tournament after losing all three of their matches so far.

Nepal will be under pressure to secure a victory to keep their hopes of reaching the semifinals alive. The team is currently seventh in the standings with two points.

Nepal ‘A’s squad for the Top End T20 Series includes captain Anil Kumar Sah, Kushal Bhurtel, Pawan Sarraf, Kushal Malla and Mayan Yadav.

The squad also features Deepak Dumre, Lokesh Bam, Shahab Alam, Rashid Khan, Akash Chand, Rijan Dhakal, Narayan Joshi, Bipin Khatri, Tritaraj Das and Yuvraj Khatri.
