Shram Sanskriti Party directs mandatory use of Chair Harka Sampang’s photo in all party programs

KATHMANDU: The Shram Sanskriti Party has instructed all subordinate committees to mandatorily include the photograph of party chair Harka Sampang on banners and promotional materials used in party programs.

According to a letter issued by the party’s Koshi Province Committee, the directive applies to programs organized at the district, metropolitan, sub-metropolitan, municipal, ward, and local levels.

The letter, signed by Provincial Committee Chair Pratap Rai and Secretary Deepak Timilsina, states that the image of “Revered Labour Father Chair Harka Sampang” must be included in all banners and publicity materials.

The party has begun emphasizing the central presence of its chair in publicity materials, drawing comparisons with earlier practices of the CPN-UML.

Previously, the UML had also directed its committees to include party chair KP Sharma Oli’s photograph in program banners. At the time, then Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Rimal had informed through social media that directives had been circulated regarding photo usage, seating arrangements, and stage management in party programs.
