Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.24 and the selling rate at Rs 153.84.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 174.29 and the selling rate at Rs 174.97. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 202.69 and the selling rate at Rs 203.48, while the Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 185.25 for buying and Rs 185.98 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.73 and the selling rate at Rs 108.15. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.65 for buying and Rs 109.07 for selling, while the Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 119.73 for buying and Rs 120.20 for selling.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.65 and the selling rate is Rs 9.69. Similarly, the Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.83 for buying and Rs 22.92 for selling. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.81 and the selling rate is Rs 40.97, while the Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 42.04 for buying and Rs 42.21 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.58 and the selling rate is Rs 4.59. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.72 for buying and Rs 41.89 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.49 for buying and Rs 37.64 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.18 and the selling rate is Rs 11.23. The Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.50 for buying and Rs 15.56 for selling, while the Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.31 for buying and Rs 23.41 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.54 and the selling rate at Rs 19.62. The Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 498.02 for buying and Rs 499.97 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 406.52 for buying and Rs 408.11 for selling. The buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 398.02 and the selling rate is Rs 399.58.

The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates. Updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
