NRB fixes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Sunday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 146.81, while the selling rate stands at Rs 147.41.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is Rs 172.31 and the selling rate Rs 173.02. The UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 198.58 for buying and Rs 199.39 for selling, while the Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 185.61 (buying) and Rs 186.37 (selling).

The Australian dollar is priced at Rs 100.55 for buying and Rs 100.96 for selling. The Canadian dollar stands at Rs 106.50 (buying) and Rs 106.94 (selling), while the Singapore dollar is set at Rs 114.75 (buying) and Rs 115.22 (selling).

Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.27 and the selling rate Rs 9.31. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 21.08 for buying and Rs 21.17 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at Rs 39.15 (buying) and Rs 39.31 (selling), while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 40.28 (buying) and Rs 40.45 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being traded at Rs 4.71 for buying and Rs 4.72 for selling. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs 39.97 (buying) and Rs 40.40 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 36.65 (buying) and Rs 36.80 (selling).

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.10 and the selling rate Rs 10.04. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 16.27 (buying) and Rs 16.34 (selling), while the Danish kroner is fixed at Rs 23.07 for buying and Rs 23.16 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.83 and the selling rate at Rs 18.90. The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 480.32 (buying) and Rs 482.28 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 389.39 (buying) and Rs 390.98 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs 381.35 (buying) and Rs 382.91 (selling).

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
