HoR meeting underway

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), the lower house of the Federal Parliament, is underway.

According to the scheduled agenda, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari will respond to oral questions raised by lawmakers concerning her ministry.

Likewise, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, will propose sending the Remuneration, Terms of Service and Facilities of Officials of Constitutional Bodies (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS to the concerned committee for clause-by-clause deliberations.

Similarly, Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal will propose sending the Passport (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS to the relevant committee for clause-by-clause deliberations.

Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities, and Social Security Sita Badi is scheduled to propose sending the Human Trafficking and Smuggling (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS to the concerned committee for clause-by-clause discussions.

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari will also propose sending the Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083 BS to the relevant committee for clause-by-clause deliberations.
