Landslide disrupts vehicular movement on Prithvi Highway



DAMAULI: Vehicular movement along the Prithvi Highway has been disrupted after a landslide blocked one lane of the road in Byas Municipality-12, Tanahun.

Police said the landslide occurred on Sunday evening, affecting one-way traffic along the highway.

A 15-member police team, including traffic police personnel, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire of the District Police Office, Tanahun, has been deployed to the site.

The team is working to clear the landslide debris and restore normal traffic. Police have urged drivers travelling along the highway to exercise caution as vehicular movement remains affected.
