KATHMANDU: Three committees of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
The committees meeting today are the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee; the Legislative Management Committee; and the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee.
The Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee is scheduled to discuss the preparation of its annual action plan for the fiscal year 2026/27. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am.
The Legislative Management Committee will also meet at 11:00 am to discuss an orientation programme.
Meanwhile, the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee will meet at 2:30 pm to discuss the peace and security situation in the southern border areas.
