UML forms task force under Badal to review elections and party restructuring



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML party has formed a task force under the leadership of Vice Chair Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ to prepare a report on election review and party restructuring.

The Secretariat meeting, which began at 12 noon on Sunday at party Chair KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur, concluded late at night after nearly 10 hours of discussions.

During the meeting, leaders presented their views and held extensive discussions on organizational matters, division of responsibilities, and the party’s future strategy. Following the discussions, the party decided to form various task forces.

According to Deputy General Secretary Lekh Raj Bhatta, the meeting held in-depth discussions on work division, organizational strengthening, and contemporary political issues.

Leaders also expressed their views on party restructuring and leadership-related matters during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Chair Oli responded to the questions and suggestions raised by the leaders.
