NC president says youths’ trust drove his biggest political decision

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa is set to visit Sarlahi on Sunday, heading to Sarlahi-4, the constituency from which he has filed his candidacy for the House of Representatives election.

Speaking during an interaction with youths from Sarlahi-4 held in New Baneshwor on Saturday, Thapa said he would be traveling to the district as an election candidate.

He said his decision to contest from Sarlahi-4 was the biggest political decision of his life and was taken based on the trust and support of the local youths.

“Relying on your confidence, I have come to contest the election from Sarlahi-4,” Thapa said.

He also urged the youths to travel to Sarlahi during the election period and help spread his message door to door.
