Chief Secretary Aryal urges civil servants to uphold integrity and public service delivery

KATHMANDU: Chief Secretary Suman Raj Aryal has emphasized the need for all civil servants to work with honesty and dedication in order to make public service delivery more effective.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 40th Basic Training Program for newly appointed gazetted third-class under-secretaries organized by the Nepal Administrative Staff College, Aryal urged government employees to remain committed to national service rather than self-interest.

He said that civil servants must uphold the dignity of their positions while fulfilling their responsibilities toward citizens effectively and transparently.

“While working in line with state policies and objectives, employees must rise above personal interests and remain transparent, accountable, and service-oriented,” Aryal said.

He stressed that improving governance and public service delivery requires a strong commitment from the entire bureaucracy to act in the interest of the nation and its people.
