KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and his Portuguese counterpart, Paulo Rangel, held a meeting in New York, the United States, on Monday.
According to Minister Khanal’s Secretariat, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly at the UN headquarters in New York.
During the meeting, the two ministers expressed satisfaction with the friendly and cooperative relations between Nepal and Portugal and discussed ways to further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The two sides also discussed making Nepal-Portugal relations more dynamic in the days ahead and advancing cooperation based on shared interests, according to Khanal’s Secretariat.
