Talks with Garima Chaudhary’s parents to be held at Home Ministry today



KATHMANDU: Talks with the parents of three-year-old Garima Chaudhary, who was murdered in Simara, Bara, will be held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday.

According to James Karki, personal aide to Home Minister Sudan Gurung, the talks are scheduled to take place shortly.

Garima’s father Manoj and mother Manamati Chaudhary arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday afternoon from Simara Airport along with a team of local activists.

Garima, a three-year-old from Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-1, went missing from her home at around 8 am on August 16. Her body was found three days later. Police have said she was raped and murdered.
