PM Shah to hold talks with Handicraft Federation representatives



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold discussions with representatives of the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal on Tuesday regarding the expansion, development and promotion of the country’s handicraft sector.

The meeting is set to take place at 11:30 am at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

The discussions will focus on challenges faced by the handicraft industry, measures to promote exports and possible government support for the sector.

A delegation from the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal, including Chairperson Rabindra Shakya, Senior Vice Chair Rajman Bajracharya, Vice Chair Kiran Kumar Sthapit, Advisor Bikash Ratna Dhakwa and leading exporter Maheshwor Shrestha, will participate in the meeting.
