CHITWAN: Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel has announced his candidacy for the post of central committee member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
Pokharel made the announcement ahead of the election of 99 central committee members within the party, which is currently holding its internal organisational process.
The election is expected to be closely watched as the party moves to finalise its new central leadership structure through internal voting.
