PM Shah observes elephant breeding centre in Chitwan



CHITWAN: Prime Minister Balendra Shah visited the elephant breeding and training centre at Khorsor in Sauraha on Sunday and observed the facility.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shah toured different sections of the centre along with his family, according to Manipuran Chaudhary, head of the breeding centre.

The centre, located in Sauraha, currently houses nine foals and seven elephant calves undergoing care and training.

Officials briefed the Prime Minister on the management, conservation efforts, and daily operations of the facility, which plays an important role in wildlife conservation and tourism activities in the region.

Prime Minister Shah is currently in Chitwan to attend the first national convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), where he is expected to engage in various political and organizational programs.
