RSP convention closed session delayed as delegate list correction continues

CHITWAN: The closed session of the first national general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Chitwan has been delayed as corrections in the list of delegates have not yet been completed.

The session was originally scheduled to begin at 8:30 am today. However, delays in finalizing and correcting the names of convention representatives pushed back the start of the proceedings.

Organizers said the closed session could not begin on time due to unresolved issues in the delegate list verification process.

The three-day convention is expected to finalize key party decisions, including statute amendments and leadership selection, once the closed-door session begins.
