KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.63 and the selling rate at Rs 154.23.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 178.41 and the selling rate at Rs 179.11. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 206.44 and the selling rate at Rs 207.25. The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 195.07 and the selling rate at Rs 195.84.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.62 and the selling rate at Rs 110.05. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar stands at Rs 111.61 and the selling rate at Rs 112.05. The buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 120.08 and the selling rate at Rs 120.55.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.66 and the selling rate at Rs 9.70. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.59 and the selling rate is Rs 22.68.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 40.94 and the selling rate at Rs 41.10, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 42.15 and sold at Rs 42.31.
The buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.70 and the selling rate at Rs 4.72. The buying rate of one UAE dirham stands at Rs 41.83 and the selling rate at Rs 41.99. Likewise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 38.77 and the selling rate at Rs 38.92.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of 100 South Korean won at Rs 10.19 and the selling rate at Rs 10.23. The buying rate of one Swedish kronor is Rs 16.42 and the selling rate is Rs 16.49, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 23.87 and sold at Rs 23.97.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.61 and the selling rate at Rs 19.69. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 500.75 and sold at Rs 502.71. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 407.40 and the selling rate at Rs 408.99, while one Omani rial is being bought at Rs 399.03 and sold at Rs 400.59.
The buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 per INR 100, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
