KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley woke up to a colder morning today compared to Saturday.
Early measurements indicate that the minimum temperature has dropped by about 3 degrees Celsius.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature recorded at 5:45 am was 8.5 degrees Celsius. The final minimum temperature, measured at 8:45 am, is expected to be lower, although it may sometimes remain unchanged.
By comparison, Saturday’s minimum temperature was 11.3 degrees Celsius, which remained the same in the final reading.
The Division also reported a very low chance of rainfall in the valley today. Officials noted that partial cloud cover is expected, allowing for occasional sunlight during the day.
