NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar (USD) has been set at Rs 152.84, while the selling rate is Rs 153.44.

The buying rate for one euro (EUR) has been fixed at Rs 178.91 and the selling rate at Rs 179.61. Similarly, the British pound sterling (GBP) has a buying rate of Rs 208.55 and a selling rate of Rs 209.37, while the Swiss franc (CHF) has been fixed at Rs 192.06 and Rs 192.81 for buying and selling, respectively.

The Australian dollar (AUD) has been set at Rs 108.93 for buying and Rs 109.36 for selling. The Canadian dollar (CAD) stands at Rs 111.02 and Rs 111.46, while the Singapore dollar (SGD) is fixed at Rs 120.29 and Rs 120.77 for buying and selling, respectively.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.65, with a selling rate of Rs 9.69. The Chinese yuan has been set at Rs 22.74 and Rs 22.83, while the Saudi Arabian riyal (SAR) stands at Rs 40.71 and Rs 40.87. The Qatari riyal (QAR) has a buying rate of Rs 41.93 and a selling rate of Rs 42.10.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht (THB) has been fixed at Rs 4.65 for buying and Rs 4.67 for selling. The UAE dirham (AED) stands at Rs 41.61 and Rs 41.78, while the Malaysian ringgit (MYR) is fixed at Rs 37.79 and Rs 37.94.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.97 and the selling rate is Rs 11.01. The Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 16.17 and Rs 16.24, while the Danish krone (DKK) stands at Rs 23.93 and Rs 24.03 for buying and selling, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar (HKD) has a buying rate of Rs 19.49 and a selling rate of Rs 19.56. The Kuwaiti dinar (KWD) has been fixed at Rs 498.26 for buying and Rs 500.21 for selling. The Bahraini dinar (BHD) stands at Rs 405.40 and Rs 406.99, while the Omani rial (OMR) has been set at Rs 397.00 and Rs 398.56.

The buying and selling rates for 100 Indian rupees (INR) have both been fixed at Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. Rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those published by the central bank. Updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
