KATHMANDU: Police have identified the man who died after being found burned inside a car in Kirtipur as 70-year-old Suresh Chandra Shrestha of Naradevi, Kathmandu.
According to the Kathmandu District Police Range, Shrestha was found dead in the driver’s seat of a burnt white car (Ba 5 Cha 3038) that had been parked on a vacant plot at Chandani Chowk in Kirtipur on Tuesday morning.
Police said the victim’s body had been burned to skeletal remains and was identified by his relatives.
Kathmandu District Police Range spokesperson SP Pawan Bhattarai said the vehicle was registered in Shrestha’s name.
