Prime Minister Shah says no reason to doubt his patriotism

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that no one should have any doubts regarding his patriotism.

Addressing the first national general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Chitwan on Sunday, Shah said that being a good leader or holding strong political beliefs does not require aligning with specific groups or factions, but rather earning the trust of the public.

He emphasized that there are no internal factions within the party and called for unity among all members.

During his remarks, Shah also expressed confidence that long-standing issues such as the settlement of squatters and the ongoing cooperative sector problems would be resolved within the current term.

He claimed that major achievements and positive developments in the country would be led under the party’s direction and said that members at all levels of the organisation carry responsibilities similar to that of a prime minister.

Shah urged party members to focus on organisational strengthening and national development, calling for collective commitment toward building a prosperous nation.
