CHITWAN: Leader of the Nepali Communist Party Barshaman Pun has said his party supports the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on issues of revolution, political transformation, and good governance.
Addressing the opening session of RSP’s first national general convention in Chitwan on Sunday, Pun said his party stands close to RSP on agendas related to change and social transformation.
He said both parties share common ground on good governance, transparency, and institutional reform, and added that they have previously stood together in support of democratic values and justice even in difficult circumstances.
Pun expressed confidence that RSP and its leadership would ensure reforms are carried out within constitutional boundaries and through proper legal processes.
He further said that democracy becomes stronger when political parties are strengthened, adding that majority groups must show humility while minority voices should exercise patience in the political process.
