BAJURA: At least 23 people were injured in a bus accident at Ritha Bazaar in Budhiganga Municipality along the Sanphe-Martadi Highway last evening.
The passenger bus (SuPra 01001 Kha 1355), en route from Mahendranagar, reportedly suffered a brake failure, leading to the accident.
According to Police Inspector Naresh Bahadur Shahi, all the injured were immediately taken to the District Hospital for treatment.
A police team reached the site soon after receiving information and carried out rescue operations, Shahi added. Police said the injured are out of serious danger.
