Gold and silver prices edge up in Nepali market



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices posted modest gains in the domestic market today, with gold rising by Rs 600 per tola and silver by Rs 50 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Federation, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 287,300 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 4,690 per tola.

Last Friday, gold was traded at Rs 286,700 per tola and silver at Rs 4,640 per tola.

In the international market, gold was trading at around $4,155 per ounce and silver at $64 per ounce, according to international media reports.
