Three persons drown in separate incidents



KARNALI: Three people drowned in separate incidents in Surkhet and Dailekh districts on Saturday.

According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, 14-year-old Samjhana Thapa and 12-year-old Kalpana Rawat of Birendranagar Municipality-10 drowned while swimming in the Tuni River on Saturday evening.

In a separate incident, 18-year-old Ramesh Pun of Gurans Rural Municipality, Dailekh, drowned in a pond on Saturday.
