KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balen Shah and Speaker DP Aryal held discussions on the smooth functioning of Parliament.
Speaker Aryal visited the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to meet Prime Minister Shah.
Opposition parties have been continuously obstructing parliamentary proceedings, demanding the Prime Minister’s presence in Parliament.
Today as well, after the session was disrupted, the Speaker adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes and went to meet the Prime Minister.
However, even after discussions with the Speaker, sources indicate that it is unlikely Prime Minister Shah will attend Parliament today.
