Protest held in Kathmandu demanding justice in Inisha BK murder case



KATHMANDU: A protest was held in Kathmandu on Saturday demanding strict punishment for those involved in the murder of Inisha BK.

The demonstration was organised at Maitighar Mandala under the leadership of various organisations seeking justice for the victim.

Participants displayed placards with slogans such as “Deliver justice to the victim,” “Ensure the safety of daughters,” “Punish rapists strictly,” and “No peace without justice.”

The protest was also joined by the Nepal Gold and Silver Business and Craftsmen Struggle Committee, which expressed solidarity with the demand for justice for BK.

In the case, BK was found dead in a community forest in Birendranagar, Surkhet. Police said statements have been recorded from suspects involved in the incident and that the investigation has reached its final stage.
