Ireland cricket team to tour Nepal in 2026 for white-ball series

KATHMANDU: The Ireland cricket team is scheduled to visit Nepal in 2026, according to the team’s recently released international calendar. The tour will include a white-ball series—one-day internationals (ODIs) and T20 matches—under a new five-year strategic partnership.

As per the International Cricket Council (ICC) schedule, Ireland is expected to play against Afghanistan in August before traveling to Nepal for the series.

However, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has not yet officially confirmed the visit.

CAN had previously stated that Nepal aims to host at least two Test-playing nations for series within the country as part of its annual cricket calendar.
