Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 145.27, while the selling rate stands at Rs 145.87.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 170.36 and the selling rate at Rs 171.06. Likewise, the UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 195.56 and a selling rate of Rs 196.36, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 183.90 and a selling rate of Rs 184.66.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 97.78 and the selling rate is Rs 98.19. The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.20, with the selling rate at Rs 9.24. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.87 and sold at Rs 20.96. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.74 and a selling rate of Rs 38.90, while the Qatari riyal is being traded at Rs 39.86 for buying and Rs 40.02 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.68 and the selling rate is Rs 4.70. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.55 and sold at Rs 39.71, while the Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 35.83 and a selling rate of Rs 35.98.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 9.84 and the selling rate at Rs 9.88. Similarly, the Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.91 and sold at Rs 15.98, while the Danish krona has a buying rate of Rs 22.80 and a selling rate of Rs 22.90.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.63 and the selling rate at Rs 18.71. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 475.20 and a selling rate of Rs 477.17, while the Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 385.31 for buying and Rs 386.90 for selling.

The Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 377.35 and sold at Rs 378.91. Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It has also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest updates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
