Lumbini Provincial Assembly meeting taking place today



DANG: The 13th meeting of the seventh session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly is scheduled to be held today at 1:00 pm.

According to the tentative agenda made public by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, the meeting will begin with a special session in which Provincial Assembly members will express their views on contemporary issues.

The agenda also includes the presentation of a committee report on the bill concerning provisions related to the rights of Dalits. The report will be presented by the Chairperson of the Social Development Committee, Yam Bahadur Nepali Sarki.

In addition, the Chairperson of the Agriculture, Forest and Environment Committee, Bishwaprem Pathak, will present the committee’s annual report to the assembly, as stated by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
