Kathmandu Valley minimum temperature drops by 2 degrees



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has dropped by at least 2 degrees Celsius today (Monday) compared to the previous day.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division Nepal, the minimum temperature recorded at 5:45 am today was 16.5°C.

However, officials said this is an initial reading, and the final minimum temperature will be confirmed at 8:45 am. It may decrease slightly from the early measurement or remain the same.

On Sunday, the minimum temperature in the Valley was 18.5°C.

The Division has also forecast the possibility of scattered rainfall in the Kathmandu Valley this afternoon.

Meteorologists said that despite minor fluctuations, temperatures are generally showing a rising trend across the country at present.
