World Day of Social Justice observed today



KATHMANDU: The World Day of Social Justice is being observed across various countries through a range of programs today. The day is celebrated annually under the auspices of the International Labour Organization (ILO).

According to a United Nations General Assembly resolution passed on 26 November 2007, the day has been officially observed every year on 20 February since 2009.

The main objective of the day is to urge the global community to come together to promote social justice, equal opportunities, labor rights, and decent work for all.
