Durga Prasai released on bail



KATHMANDU: Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai has been released on bail.

The District Government Attorney’s Office, Kathmandu, ordered Prasai’s release on bail after he was arrested in Pokhara on Monday and brought to Kathmandu.

Following the order, Prasai was released, according to SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu.

Prasai had accused the Election Commission of granting legitimacy to the special general convention of the Nepali Congress in exchange for Rs 520 million.
