Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 153.10 and the selling rate at Rs 153.70. Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 175.83 and the selling rate is Rs 176.52, while the British pound sterling is fixed at Rs 204.69 for buying and Rs 205.50 for selling. The Swiss franc has been set at Rs 185.65 for buying and Rs 186.38 for selling.

The Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.08 for buying and Rs 109.51 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 109.37 and Rs 109.80, respectively. The Singapore dollar has been set at Rs 119.85 for buying and Rs 120.32 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.70 and the selling rate is Rs 9.73. The Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 22.86 for buying and Rs 22.95 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.76 and Rs 40.92, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.99 and Rs 42.16, respectively.

The buying and selling rates of the Thai baht have been set at Rs 4.59 and Rs 4.61, respectively. The UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 41.69 for buying and Rs 41.85 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.52 and Rs 37.67.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.04 and the selling rate is Rs 11.09. The Swedish krona is fixed at Rs 15.59 for buying and Rs 15.65 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.52 and Rs 23.61, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.51 for buying and Rs 19.59 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 498.13 and Rs 500.08, while the Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 406.11 and Rs 407.70, respectively. The Omani rial has been set at Rs 397.66 for buying and Rs 399.22 for selling.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for both buying and selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
