Police arrest two with narcotic drugs after opening fire in Kuleshwor



KATHMANDU: Police arrested two people, including an Indian national, after opening fire during an anti-narcotics operation in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu, on Sunday afternoon.

A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau led by Inspector Rakesh Yadav fired two rounds near the Kuleshwor Bridge before apprehending the suspects.

The two arrested are an Indian citizen and a Nepali national, police said.

Authorities also recovered a large quantity of pharmaceutical narcotic drugs from the suspects. Further investigation into the case is underway.
