Ruling RSP holding Secretariat meeting today



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a meeting of its Secretariat to discuss organizational and structural reforms.

Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane has scheduled the meeting for today at 3:30 pm at the party’s central office, Banasthali in Kathmandu.

According to party sources, the meeting will focus on preparations for the upcoming general convention and district conventions. Key agenda items include drafting the “District Convention Procedures–2083” and forming a committee to prepare the general convention procedures.

The meeting is also expected to decide on forming a Central Commission and Advisory Council, expanding the Federal Leadership Forum, and making appointments to various party departments.

In addition, discussions will cover new provisions for bank account operations and the engagement of experts for party projects.

The secretariat is also set to assign organizational responsibilities to members of the House of Representatives, along with decisions on preparations for the upcoming central committee meeting, technical support for parliamentary party functions, and levy management.
