Gold, silver prices rise



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have increased in the Nepali market today, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation.

The price of gold rose by Rs 4,300 per tola, with trading taking place at Rs 3,04,700 per tola. On Wednesday, the previous day’s price of standard (chaapawal) gold was Rs 3,04,00 0 per tola.

Silver prices also climbed, increasing by Rs 180 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs 5,060 per tola, up from Wednesday’s rate of Rs 4,880 per tola, the federation said.
