KP Sharma Oli arrives in Jhapa ahead of candidacy filing



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has arrived in Jhapa to file his candidacy for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

Oli landed at Bhadrapur Airport, where he was welcomed by party leaders and cadres.

According to UML Jhapa Chair Prem Giri, Oli will meet with local leaders and party workers during his stay in the district. He is preparing to contest again from Jhapa-5.

In this constituency, senior Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balen Shah is set to challenge Oli. Shah is also scheduled to arrive in Jhapa today.
