Former minister Pradeep Yadav quits JSP Nepal, joins CPN-UML



KATHMANDU: Former Minister for Drinking Water and leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Pradeep Yadav, has resigned from his party and joined the CPN-UML.

Yadav formally entered the UML during a program held late Sunday night at the residence of party chair KP Sharma Oli in Gundu. UML Chair Oli welcomed Yadav into the party and indicated preparations to field him as a candidate from Parsa-1 in the upcoming election.

Yadav had earlier won the House of Representatives election from Parsa-1, the same constituency from which the UML plans to nominate him again.
