KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.20, while the selling rate is Rs 153.80.
The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.79 and the selling rate at Rs 176.48. Likewise, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 205.23 and the selling rate Rs 206.04, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 185.47 and the selling rate Rs 186.20.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.93 and the selling rate at Rs 109.36. Similarly, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 109.48 and the selling rate Rs 109.91, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 120.06 and the selling rate Rs 120.53.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.84 and the selling rate Rs 9.88. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.84 and the selling rate Rs 22.93. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.78 and the selling rate Rs 40.94, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 42.03 and the selling rate Rs 42.19.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.59 and the selling rate Rs 4.61. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.71 and the selling rate Rs 41.88, while the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.37 and the selling rate Rs 37.52.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.05 and the selling rate Rs 11.09. The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.59 and the selling rate Rs 15.66, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.52 and the selling rate Rs 23.61.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.53 and the selling rate at Rs 19.60. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 498.45 and the selling rate Rs 500.41, while the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 406.38 and the selling rate Rs 407.97.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 397.92 and the selling rate Rs 399.48. The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs 160.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
