Two killed in Dadeldhura jeep accident



DADELDHURA: Two people were killed after a Bolero jeep met with an accident at Khasarekhan in Amargadhi Municipality-7, Dadeldhura, on Friday morning.

The Bolero jeep (Su Pa Pra 01-001 Ja 1850), which was travelling from Dhangadhi to Darchula, plunged around 500 metres off the road, according to Chief of the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Superintendent of Police Barun Bahadur Singh.

The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Shubham Lothyal and 20-year-old Hum Lothyal, both residents of Api Himal Rural Municipality-1 in Darchula.

Three other occupants of the jeep sustained injuries in the accident and are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital, police said. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
