KATHMANDU: The main opposition Nepali Congress is holding a meeting of its Central Working Committee this afternoon to discuss the party’s organizational and current political affairs.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at the party’s central office, B.P. Smriti Bhawan, B.P. Nagar, Lalitpur.
Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal has issued a notice requesting all office bearers and members of the Central Working Committee to attend the meeting at the scheduled time.
The meeting comes as the Nepali Congress, the main opposition in the federal parliament, continues discussions on matters concerning the party’s organization and its role in national politics. The issues to be discussed at today’s meeting have not been specified in the notice.
