Several highways remain blocked due to floods and landslides

KATHMANDU: Several highways across the country remain blocked today due to floods, landslides, and road erosion triggered by heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, one-way traffic is being operated at Jwangkhola, Sheetal Bazar, and Tuinkhola in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-10, Dhading.

Similarly, police said traffic along the Khurkot-Nepalthok section of the BP Highway has been managed in shifts, allowing goods vehicles to operate at night and passenger vehicles during the day. The Karnali Highway in Humla has also remained blocked today due to landslides.
