KATHMANDU: The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is concluding today at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, drawing a significant number of visitors during its six-day run.
More than 150,000 people had visited the expo by the end of its fifth day, exceeding the organisers’ expected total attendance for the entire event. A further 42,000 visitors have been recorded on the final day, reflecting the growing public interest in the expo.
The expo features more than 55 vehicle brands and has showcased a wide range of new models, including 53 vehicles launched for the first time during the event.
Visitors have shown particular interest in battery capacity, motor specifications, driving range, after-sales services, battery warranties and resale value.
The expo aims to promote a more sustainable and technology-driven transportation system in Nepal, with a strong focus on electric vehicles, e-scooters and electric commercial vehicles. Many of the showcased models are being introduced to the Nepali market for the first time.
The participation of both domestic and international manufacturers has further highlighted the expo’s growing importance to Nepal’s mobility and automobile industry.
