This afternoon, the country is expected to remain generally cloudy. Moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in several mountainous and hilly areas.

Similar weather conditions are also expected in parts of the Terai, particularly in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, with isolated heavy rainfall forecast for some areas of Madhesh and Sudurpaschim.

The Division has also warned of heavy rainfall in the mountainous regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and one or two places in the Terai of Lumbini Province.
