NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.72 and the selling rate at Rs 154.32.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 175.51 and the selling rate at Rs 176.19. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 205.78 and a selling rate of Rs 206.59, while one Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 189.56 and a selling rate of Rs 190.30.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.37 and the selling rate at Rs 107.78. One Canadian dollar is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 109.32 and a selling rate of Rs 109.74, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 118.96 and a selling rate of Rs 119.43.

The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen have been fixed at Rs 9.47 and Rs 9.50, respectively. One Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.69 for buying and Rs 22.78 for selling. Likewise, the buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs 40.92 and Rs 41.08, while one Qatari riyal is being traded at Rs 42.16 and Rs 42.33, respectively.

According to NRB, one Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.57 and a selling rate of Rs 4.59. One UAE dirham is being exchanged at Rs 41.85 for buying and Rs 42.02 for selling, while one Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 37.69 and a selling rate of Rs 37.84.

The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won have been fixed at Rs 10.29 and Rs 10.33, respectively. One Swedish krona is valued at Rs 15.88 for buying and Rs 15.94 for selling, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 23.48 and a selling rate of Rs 23.57.

The buying and selling rates for one Hong Kong dollar have been set at Rs 19.61 and Rs 19.69, respectively. One Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 499.66 for buying and Rs 501.61 for selling.

Similarly, one Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 407.69 and a selling rate of Rs 409.28, while one Omani rial is being exchanged at Rs 399.25 for buying and Rs 400.81 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

NRB has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
